I guess you have a smartphone. The easiest thing is to download an app (I use an Expense Manager call) and you need to track each expense. Every time you spend money, whether it's cash, debit card, credit card, anything, register it.
Most decent apps will also allow you to enter a budget and categorize your expenses. You must do this to know exactly how much and where you are spending your money.
Finally, look for the creation of a long-term budget, which I call the cash flow budget. To do this, you will need several years of data. What you have to do is find out what your unique expenses are. For example, I pay for my home insurance once a year. If I look at a 6-month history, I'll probably miss it. Watching for a year or two will show you the trends. In some cases, expenses may be unique, such as removing wisdom teeth, but it's often best to include this because you may have other problems later.
